Anti-Redness Serum

FAB Anti-Redness Serum is packed with caffeine, a natural vasoconstrictor that can help with visible skin redness. By shrinking blood vessels, FAB Anti-Redness Serum improves unsightly redness in the dermis. Colloidal sulfur in the formula works to combat the root cause of facial redness. Aloe soothes while ginger works as a natural, powerful anti-inflammatory. Bisabolol is an exceptionally gentle anti-inflammatory that aids penetration of our formula’s actives. FAB Antioxidant Booster completes the picture by defending the skin against free radical damage.

FAB Anti-Redness Serum is for anyone with facial redness, whatever the source.

Diminishes visible redness, calms skin and helps to prevent flare ups.

Worked well

by Nicole Maust, January 18, 2017

I have eye dermatitis and I tried on this product at a Sephora store. Yes it did sting slightly when I first put it on but that seems to be the case for any product I directly put on my flared eyelid- no matter how sensitive the product, it seems the sting is a given so don't let that deter you. After a few seconds the stinging went away and my skin felt great! I did notice that the redness on my eyelid was significantly less than before I applied the product- within a matter of minutes! I ended up purchasing the moisturizer and face wash as that Is what I really needed, but there is a chance I will go back to purchase the this redness serum if my eye dermatitis flare doesn't go away soon.

Not good

by Stephanie , December 27, 2016

I commented on the clay mask as well. Love this line but I returned to the store with this product 45 min after I bought it. I bought it to calm red skin and after using it, my face was on fire and looked red like a cherry. Not doing what it iintended for.

Love this product!

by Kim A., December 18, 2016

I first tried this as the 7 daily-use ampoules, and was blown away by the change in my skin in just a few days. The texture was smoother, capillaries were less noticeable, hyperpigmentation was lighter (I can't use acids like most people) and bumps (clogged pores?) that had been there for years were gone! I immediately purchased a full-sized bottle for myself. I gave a couple of the ampoules to my son, who has seborrheic dermatitis on his cheeks. He applied it before bed, and the next morning, his cheeks were perfectly clear. I'm not exaggerating - there was no trace of redness or flaking. Now he's getting a bottle as well.

I love using this serum after eye brow and lip waxing - I get really red and this really helps calm my skin down quickly

I wanted to love this....

by Amy, February 12, 2016

I just wanted to add my two cents here. I tried another First Aid Beauty product and was blown away by how good it was, so I was hoping this would be a win also. Unfortunately, my sensitive skin did not like this product. I have sensitive, eczema prone skin and this burned quite a bit when I put in on. I could overlook that if it was effective, but I did not see any abatement of redness. It also had a strong flowery scent, which may be a natural scent from an ingredient, but it so happens, that I am uniquely sensitive to those kinds of scents. I think this may be a great product for others, but if you are eczema prone or sensitive to scents, this may not be for you.

Not safe for my sensitive skin

by Cherrelle, June 11, 2015

I really wanted to like this product as it's quite pricey and it's whole brand is designed to be safe for sensitive skin - yet it stings a bit when I put it in. Until using this product I didn't think I even had that sensitive skin, so I'm disappointed that for a brand that is all about being safe for sensitive skin it's irritating my skin. I maybe could put up with it if it works but I have really blotchy red skin and nothing has changed and I've been using it for weeks now. Disappointing.

I have rosacea... this serum burns when I put it on...

by Rebecca, October 21, 2014

When I first tried a sample, it worked great and so I bought it. Then the bottle I bought did nothing and actually burned when I put it on. Made my acne rosacea slightly worse. When I got down to the bottom of the bottle, it pumped out a more translucent product. What had pumped out in the beginning of using it pumped out white. I used up what was left; once I reached the milky translucent serum left in the bottom it ran out very very quickly. But in the week that it took for it to run out all together, the translucent product was calming and even cool after I put it on and almost cleared up my acne rosacea. When I went back to the store I checked the try me bottle that they got my sample from and the serum that pumped out was a mix of white and translucent. It immediately calmed my face. Bought another bottle hoping it was just an old bottle that settled and this one was fresh product. Same thing. My face is on fire right now for having put it on. At this point I don't know if it is because the store had the product sitting on the shelf so long it expired or if their product just settles. And the packaging it is in there is no way to mix it and it doesn't have the consistency for shaking to mix it. At this point I think I give up trying to find out if it works or not. Should not have to worry about what ifs. Strangely what did work for my rosacea was a salicylic acid moisturizer from Philosophy. Clear Day Ahead. Not letting them talk me out of it again. I have tried 3 samples of it and every single one worked.

Didn't do much

by Kristina, July 7, 2014

I so wanted to like this product but it didn't do anything for my redness at all. Will have to try other brands :/

Not for me :(

by Laura, May 11, 2014

There's a lot to like about this serum. If you've got dilated capillaries topical caffeine works great as a vasoconstrictor, and according to Dr. Leslie Baumann (author of The Skin Type Solution) sulfur is a good ingredient for the rosacea-prone. Aloe is soothing, and the FAB antioxidant booster that's in all FAB products is, well, fab. But unfortunately this serum also contains benzophenone-4, a known irritant that IMO has no place in a product marketed to people with sensitive, reactive, redness-prone skin. Because I really like FAB products in general I was willing to give this serum a try anyway, but ... no. Not for me, although I am glad it has worked well for some. FAB, consider reformulating!

Anti Redness Serum: Did not work for me or my husband.

by Donna, May 8, 2014

I have olive skin. It is sensitive and dry skin, and it flares up often. I have blotchy redness, broken vessels and dry patches. And my husband has red toned skin that also flares up. Well we both tried it a few times and it just did not work at all for either one of us. The Caffeine/Coffee, Ginger and Aloe are a great idea though. Before ordering this, I mixed up fresh ingredients in a spice grinder and put it on my face. NOW THAT REALLY WORKED! So I will be sticking to that instead.
